Folders by Laura Muphy with visuals by Astrid Walsh: a youth dance project performed on the 20th of June 2015 as part of 'A Dance Brew' in the Firkin Crane during the Cork Midsummer Festival.  

'Crumple your expectations up in a ball and throw them in the bin.  Folders unfurls in a three-dimensional two-dimensional world, where dancers interact with paper dolls they create.  In the end, the dolls and the strange world they inhabit exert more influence on the dancers than they think.  Who is creating whom? Folders introduces eight local teenagers to the world of professional dance.  Its paper world is infused with their creativity and energy.'
